All diamond jewelry or loose diamonds purchased will come with a full written appraisal report if requested by you. The appraisal is an estimate of the cost to replace the article(s) described with new article(s) of equal quality with regard to materials, workmanship and design in a local full service retail store where similar items are commonly offered for sale. The appraisal is based on standard and complete gemological market and research procedures.
 

Actual replacement cost varies from store to store and estimates vary from appraiser to appraiser. Weight, measurements and grade of any stone(s) are estimates unless it is stated that the stone(s) was graded loose or if the diamond or gemstone that you purchased has already been certified by an independent lab such as G.I.A. or E.G.L. Federal, state and local taxes are not included.
 

The appraiser's sole interest in the article(s) appraised is to provide an accurate description of the article(s) and a viable estimate of replacement cost in return for a reasonable fee. If a fee is charged for an appraisal the fee will always be stated before any work is done and will not be based on a percentage of the value.
